Microarray Data WebTools Help

Microarray experiments performed at multiple WashingtonUniversity cores are available to investigators who initiated the experiment. The metadata and data of these experiments is stored in a central repository at the Biomedical Informatics Core. Using the pages in this tab, investigators can download their data or can share their experimental data with other investigators using the following options.
Download Chip Data
Investigators at Washington University who have conducted a microarray experiment and are registered in the Biomedical Informatics Core system can download their data along with associated annotations using this option.
Assign Privileges
Every investigator has complete ownership of his/her microarray experiment data. No other investigator can access or download data without having specific privileges. In order to facilitate data exchange among researchers, an investigator can assign limited (i.e. relative expression compared to all chips in the database. This is called 'view' in our system) or total access (i.e. full access to download primary data. This is called 'download' in our system) privileges to his/her data to other investigators registered in the system using this option.
